Default Fractal Design Define XL replacement Fans Recommendations

Hello
I recently replaced my old Aerocool case with a Fractal Design Define XL. So Yesterday I bought a new Fractal Design Define XL, but the noise from the fans is driving me nuts. I also can't get the fan controller to work. So I would like to ask any recommendations to replace these annoying 140mm Fans and a new fan controller?

Well, ideally - if you just bought the case a few days ago and the fan/fan controller not working, id take it back and exchange it.

But if you cant exchange it, well you can replace your 140mm fans with Noctua's or even Xigmatek ones. Both is fairly quiet (IMO anyways) and move decent air.

I actually found that 140mm to be quite acceptable in my Define XL.

I actually tried replacing the front cover with 2x Thermalright Silent-X fans. They just didn't fit, don't even try because you'll end up breaking the damn thing.

Try the Noctuas

You can easily get free replacements from Fractal or the retailer. However my experience with them has been pretty bad, a half dozen free replacements and 5 of them had that annoying buzz/click.

Noctua's all the way. I don't think I'll ever use anything but them for quite some time.

Hey everybody.. first post here.

These are fans I got to replace the ones in my XL. I've spent a few hours looking for the right fan that matches the black and white scheme and has decent airflow and noise level. I haven't received them yet, hopefully by next week.
