I work for JHU/APL, Electronics Eng for the Aerospace Department.
Ive worked the Hubble Space Telescope and others, and a few yrs back did MESSENGER and went to the Cape to Launch it.

Honestly, for your needs. Get a HDT base cooler like the 212+. Easy to drill into one of the aluminum pillars in the base....without messing with the performance of the cooler. Lightweight, cheap, good performance and easy to replace the fan on. :)
