Default fan suggestions for hsf/case

so it seems that my yate loons D12SL-12 (push/pull on hsf and rear) ... i also have a scythe kaze server fan controller if the fans ever get too loud

i would like some suggestions which fans for the following function:

120mm - HSF push/pull (VenX) and Rear Exhaust



Ive been reading some reviews and doing some research and narrowed it down to the following:

120mm - ZM-F3, SY1225SL12M, SFF21E/F, D1225C12B4AP-13/14


any suggestions and insights would be appreciated.

I do not know the model by heart but the stock 140s that come with the silver arrow HSF are amazing, nearly silent and move a lot of air around.

interesting.. the 140mm fan with 120mm retention holes... so they would fit with regular 120mm rear exhayst no probs? (ie without mods)

Depends on how much clearance you have in your case. The 600t doesn't look like it's wide enough, especially if you want to use the TY-140 mentioned by the previous poster.

Given your current fan choices, I would assume you're trying to go for lower cost fans with good performance. In that case I wouldn't recommend any of them, especially the Yates. Go for CM R4's and undervolt them. They can be had for $4-$5 a piece quite easily.
