Cooler for i5 750 LGA1366
 
Hey guys,

im a complete scrub when it comes to cpu coolers, and ive been reading some reviews but thought
to get some advice from some experts.

What would u suggest that's not that loud( the comp is in my room and i usually leave it on at night for downloads)

if it will fit i personally use the GELID Tranquilo on my i7 950 and on my bro's i5. They are also relatively quiet.

Just to let the OP know, the i5 750 is NOT LGA1366, it is actually LGA1156 which will make a difference as not all coolers come with the default plate for both, as well as the i5 750 will NOT fit in a 1366 motherboard.

Do you overclock? If not then the stock cooler will be fine, but if your looking for a good aftermarket one then the Cooler Master 212+ is a favorite of many guys on the site.

Like It was said earlier. The i5 750 isn't a LGA 1366 socket CPU, so while your correct that it usually doesn't matter for the CPU cooler, as they are pretty cross platform, it does matter significantly for a lot of your components.
