My System Specs

Dancing_Banana T.R.U.E on 1155?

Which adapter would I need to use my old TRUE when I go Sandy? It's one of the older ones that was pre 1156/1366 and only came with LGA775 and probably the older AMD stuff, AM2 or S939, mounting hardware. I checked Thermalrights site but I can't even find the original TRUE anymore and I can't be certain the newer revisions are the same or not.

Or should I just grab a newer heatsink, this TRUE has to be close to 3 years old now...

It'll be good enough for 1155, so far it seems these chips run into voltage issues before they run into heat issues. The 1156 bracket is what you should be looking for, IIRC the Venomous-X still uses the same mounting system. Only difference being the extra washer/tightning bolt.

The TRUE 1156 brackets are in short supply, I've been waiting on one since mid December
