lol - I have literally dozens of fan grills in a box that is probably about eight feet from the crime scene. Despite my pervasive laziness, I will strongly consider your recommendation!

dt, no matter what you do, just get it together, at least till ya meet up with pops for the hw. after that? tis a free contry you know? :p

I had 8 of these on a 480... I use 4 of them for my 135 Gallon Fish tank now LOL. I couldnt stand the noise Even with a fan controller

ya there crazy fast and truly great cfm i have one n hiding i am holding on too, there getting kinda hard to find but i have done the same a few years ago

Wow, I saw the thread title and I was gonna comment on how they can bite.

Looks like I am not the only person that nearly lost a finger tip to one of these. It was a case of, ahh I will just plug it in to test it, and the inevitable happened.

Now I have gentle typhoons that are so rounded on the blade edges that you cant really cut yourself on them.
