Gentle Typhoon 1850 In stock @ Memory Express (stocking error they dont have any)

Well there goes my hopes!

Just called their customer support to inquire about my order status as it changed and found out that there was a stocking # error in thier system and it showed they had stock but didn't.

:sad::sad::sad::sad:

Hello,

Just wanted to let you guys know that these are in stock in Canada for $15 bucks a pop and there's free shipping if you spend over $39. I myself have been searching for a month for these.

Enjoy. :thumb:

Not sure how fast they will go.

Look under Scythe.
They had the GentleTyphoon on sale a few weeks ago.

Guessed I missed there stock a couple weeks ago, but as of the moment they're on special order.

I had just ordered some from here - Scythe GentleTyphoon 120mm Silent Case Fan

Shipping is a bit pricey but otherwise it's ok. The guys working there were kind enough to E-mail me when they were back in stock and also didn't update their stock until I was ready to purchase. Really satisfied on how it worked. Looks like they still have 800, 1150, 1450 and 1850s all in stock for the time being.

I would buy them but shipping to Canada from the US really drives up costs.

I noticed a bunch of US e-tailers got some stock on the GT 1850's and was curious if any Canadian ones did but so far no luck. :sad:

I believe NCIX did but they're simply just filling back orders. The shipping was pretty pricey from these guys - $25 for 5 fans and a few other small accessories I got. Apparently the GT cases are quite large and that's part of the reason.

GT's are not good IMO, I read they develop a ticking noise before I got mine and that's exactly what happened after a few months. On max RPM it wasn't even that quiet yet my Noctua 120mm exhibits no such noises at low or high rpms.

Nice find! Too bad they don't have any '1850rpm' ones...

I was just reading NCIX forums and they had some in stock only a week ago but of course it's all gone...
