Quiet 120mm fans
 

Looking for a quiet 120mm case fan with a black/red or straight black colour scheme. I'm trying to match a Maximus Gene. Seems to be tougher than I figured. I looked at the late yoons, but price/performance ratio on them doesn't seem very good. Although, if I don't find anything better... I may have to go that route. Please no suggestions with LED lights.

If you want to plug them on a fan controller, Yateloon 120 are decent. Otherwise, scythe S-flex are probably your best bet.

You mean to quiet them down? I have three in my case(above desk) right now and it is not loud. Not perfectly silent but still pretty quiet. It is a crappy case too. :P

I'd say the low to mid speed S-flexes are quiet. The 1900 RPM G models certainly are not quiet, at least at full speed. The D or E models would be fine.

CM Sickleflows all the way as long as you have washers/rubber o rings

Gelid Silent Are amazing fans, but they don't match your Theme.

As odd as it sounds you could go for TT Turbo's and dial them down with a Controller, but thats more cost and more work.

OTherwise go straight black *(colour sceme and lack of LED's hinders some good fan designs)*.
