Default Replacing NH-D14 stock fans?
For those of you with NH-D14 with their stock fans replaced, did you guys use the fan clips from the original fans? If so, how did you guys get it off? I'm finding it extremely difficult...

I would prefer to use the original clips rather than a rubber band, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Just push them off to the sides and they'll pop off, careful not to drop your fans on anything fragile though.

no, my question was how to remove the fan clips from the fans, rather than removing the fans from the heatsink.

not sure if it is possible.

are you talking about the wire metal thingy that holds the fan to the heatsink itself?

I found them to be very tricky to remove, and just as frustrating to replace... just keep fiddling with them.

I would describe to you how I removed mine, but I honestly do not quite remember, and I cannot try again because they're in my case ATM.
