Need Quiet / Silent Heatsink

I would like to replace my stock heatsink that came with my Pentium 4 3.2ghz with a quieter one. I am looking at the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus and Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro REV.2. I heared the Heat-pipe Direct Touch are harder to install than normal heatsink. Is this true? Can you recommand a quiet fan with easy installation below 30$?

it's not the direct touch that's harder to install, it's just how a heatsink is built.

i just installed the 212 in a system, and it wasn't bad at all.

you might want to consider ocz vendetta 2 as well, which is cheap and a decent performer.

but if difficulty of install is the only reason you don't want the 212, i just want to say that it's not all that difficult. maybe a 5 minute difference from an "easy" installing one.

a bit overkill but for quietness? you might be able to run it fanless or close to

yeh I did read that review but it involved removing all the motherboard to be able to attach the cooler? I wish i could be able to push pin it in the hole.

I wish i could but the pentium 3.2ghz run hot... Do you recommand a cheaper one thats quiet?

at that price? there were some cheaper tower coolers from...forgot the manufacturer, around 15 bucks but the fan on them wasnt really quiet
