Default Corsair A70

Just out of curiosity: has anyone seen any reviews for this cooler at all lately? It recently popped up in stock at Canada Computers, and was wondering how it fared against the other more prominent coolers in the market right now.

They featured it at CeBit, the A50 is a 3 heatpipe HDT, A70 is 4 heatpipe HDT, nothing special from what they showcased, aside from the anti vibration stuff.
I personally feel that it will be just like the rest of the HDT coolers, but I could very easily be wrong. (I'm thinking the A50 is going to be like the CM212 and the A70 is going to be a big flop)

EDIT: NVM, I don't think I'll be impressed by either cooler, NCIX has them for $60 and $75 respectively. Not that attractive even though it comes with fans.

Well, by the looks of it, it seems to be a better-looking version of a Titan Fenrir. I was wondering if anyone had found reviews because I wanted to see how it performs.

But since I couldn't find anyone who did, I just went and bought a Venomous X-RT

I'm giving this thread a bump as I'm quite interested in this cooler as well! I'd love to see HWC do a review on this ASAP pretty please

appearantly the fans they give you are crappy. Corsair A70.. - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net but given the price, they gotta cheap out in some area.

i went with a megahalems, couldn't wait for anything else, and going to go with Scythe S-Flex push pull on a fan controller. But I budgeted a bit more for my CPU cooling.

I would love to read a HWC review on the A70 vs. the mainstream Noctua U12/D14, Prolimatech Armageddon, Ultra120, etc, etc..

The heatsink is very expensive. I don't see any reason why they should cheap out considering the design is almost identical to the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus which sells for less than half the price. The A70 does come with a second fan, but that doesn't justify the huge premium.
