Default Megahalem!

Hey! Not sure if this is where i should put this but im in the market for a Megahalem and NCIX just ran out of stock! Anyone know a place i can find one that ships to Canada or a shop where i can go pick it up in/around Toronto?

Newegg.ca still has it in stock for $60. I would still order from NCIX though, (no PST and free shipping deal this week) they should be able to get stock soon. No typhoons/earthquakes in Taiwan lately.

Just checked NCIX, they got one in store still, might be able to get them to sell it to you.

does the mega shadow fit AM3? i ask cause i don't see AM3 listed and for the megahlem i need to order a AM3 plate separately

No, it only fits Socket 775, 1156 and 1366; unless you buy the AM bakplate mounting kit for an Extra $10 as you have noted.
It really should be part of the HS kit at that price, like with the Megahlem B.

I don't think the Rev B Megahalem includes AM2/3 mounting hardware either.

id recommend the mega over any h/s fan

Ive owned pretty much everyone top contending heatsink on the market and it has blown me away with build quality, and installation methods. It's a bit pricey especially if you have to grab and amd kit but it's worth it my opinion. The only thing that competes with it is the nhd14 but that thing is pretty unsightly.
