I am running the Ven X RT with my 1090T CPU OC @ 4 Ghz and only 63C. It was easy to mount and all I can say is I am impressed. The included fan in very quiet and I was getting 60C @ 3.2Ghz with stock cooling.

It is a monster though, heavy and large but it fits fine with my Asus M5A99X evo board in a Coolermaster Haf x case.

Very happy with it, got it for under $65 at directcanada.com. NCIX wants over $80 plus shipping.

Err... I hope you know that AMD Phenom II processors aren't supposed to go past 62C.

it went over 60C with stock cooling and stock speed (3.2Ghz) so as long as I am under that I am happy. I don't now many people who can get their CPU under 60C @ full load without extreme cooling solutions.

The stock AMD cooler is barely adequate at stock performance.
Running your AMD at anything above AMD's 62C recommendation will shorten its life. How MUCH it shortens it is open to debate. What is not is that it WILL shorten the lifespan. You may want to reapply your TIM and re-seat your cooler.

Personally I use 60 as my safe number for AMD rigs.

YMMV

i should add, that 63C @ 4 Ghz is under full load, not idle. I am not going to sweat it out over 1 or 2 degrees.
