Gelid Silent 12 PWM is a good alternative to the more pricey Gelid Wings...

Thanks all, I went with Silenx iXtreme Pro Quiet from NCIX. They have the lowest DBA levels. 72 CFM 14DBA.Should be quiet enough.

The SilenX fans are really good and fairly quiet. Never trust DBA or CFM ratings too much unless they have been tested outside of the Manufacturer.

That being said, minus startup Vibration from the SilenX fans, they are really solid performers. I did a test of them in a Member Fan Review a while back now. I came away satisfied to say the least.

Lol... Like ST said, don't trust advertising! Thats 72 CFM @ Max, and 14DB @ Min. NOT 72CFM @ 14Db

Like I said mate, I like the SIlenX iXtreme fans that I bought and still use them. They are good FDB fans for sure.
