Defective I guess? So lame. RMA to newegg ugh so much of a pain.

Anyway to know for sure?

try another one? see that the wires are making proper contact. does it look/smell burned?

Yeah I tried swapping. The cable connection seems fine. no burns or w/e

This may sound stupid .... but look if it's really plugged in Fan1 .... same thing happened to me, turns out I had it plugged in into Fan4 by accident

Well if you've swapped out to different fans in Port 1 then its time to RMA the controller.

Not much else you can do.

The Rhoebus is one of the best fan controller out here but we are never aware of defective unit. If you plug multiple fan in the slot 1 and they wont work but plugged in other channel they work then you have all you need RMA the best. Hope it will go fine, newegg have good RMA service so it should!
