I have a Thermaltake Xaser III and it can take up to 7 fans, I also have a fan controller that can take 4 3pin fans. I know 120mm fans are better but I don't wish to cut up my case, I like it as it is - but some of these fans I have in it are fairly weak and I've decided I want more lights... I'm a sucker for blue LEDs :P (although willing to mix it up and create a rainbow, no matter how "tacky" anyone thinks it looks) |
I've always enjoyed Blue LED's as well so I know where you are comming from there.
For 80mm the choices are a little more limited at times. Thermaltake For a while had a real monster if you can still get it, their 80mm Smart Fan moves almost 50CFM , but given its size you pay the price for noise levels at that rate.
NCIX.com - Buy Silenx iXtrema Pro 80MM Blue LED Quiet Fan 1700RPM 32CFM 14DBA Fluid Dynamic Bearings 3/4PIN - IXP-54-14B In Canada.
SilenX has one that is actually half decent, moves about 32CFM (noise depends on location in the case) and uses a more modern Fluid Dynamic Bearing as opposed to cheaper variants.
NCIX.com - Buy Coolermaster TLF-S82-EB 80MM LED Case Fan 4 LED Blue 1800RPM 22CFM 22DBA - TLF-S82-EB In Canada.
Coolermaster has a Cheaper one, but it uses sleeve bearings which tend to have a higher failure rate than other types. It also moves less air.
Buy the Thermaltake AF0029 Thunderblade Clear LED Fan at TigerDirect.ca
Or you could try TT's Thunderblade.
If I personally had to choose, I'd opt for the SilenX first.
