Got a too many fans for my case, help me pick which to keep

I'm sure this happened to plenty of people, I've ordered wayyyy to many case fans on temptation from the prices and my case can't hold all of them lol. I've got 4 red yate loon's that seem to be pretty famous here, 2 stock haf922 120mm fans and a AC 12PWM.

Right now I'd like the keep the stock 200mm fan and mount it on the side, then mount two 120mm's up top, one at the back and one at the bottom. They are all quiet enough for me, which ones should I pick? Are stock CM fans better than red yate loon's, and are AC 12pwm's any good? Thanks.

If you're using a PWM fan on your CPU HSF, then mount the AC 12PWM (which I believe has PWM sharing) following the same orientation as the HSF and then use the red yate-loons everywhere else. Ex: HSF is oriented east/west, then mount the AC 120mm at the rear and wire it using PWM sharing so it follows the HSF's fan speed.

alright I'll do that, what about yateloon vs stock cm? Does anyone have a good way to mount a 120mm up front at the 5.25" area of a haf922?

Whats the model # of the stock CM? If its the one I'm thinking of with the passthrough molex connector and only 2 wires then they're decent fans, but the yate loons probably move a little more air for same amount of noise.

To get an extra fan (only) in your 5.25 bays, try a Scythe Kama Bay.

They're both A12025-12CB-3BN-F1

For the 5.25" bays, would something along the lines of paperclips work?

Those red yate loons aren't the greatest but I mean at 3.99 when on sale at NCIX they are cheap and are decent. Defineately not as bad the stock fans that came with my CM690. Those things were noisy and barely pushed any air. I'd say my Gelid Silent series fans are slightly better MAYBE but they are also 3 dollars more than the loons.

I don't plan on buying anything new, would you say use the loons or those cm fans if I had to choose one to keep?

I'd say they're pretty much on par.

Loons are quieter and may push a little more air.
