If you cant find another CM BladeMaster fan (they are getting tough to find for some strange reason) get two CM R4's. VERY sweet fans, great static pressure and are CHEAP. ;)

If for whatever reason the 212+ doesnt net good enough result (it should, but just in case) the next step up would be my new "go to" cooler that I drop into most higher end builds: the Zalman Flex (for lower end builds I prefer the 212+ as every penny saved is a penny I can put somewhere else). It plus 2 R4's is one SWEET CPU cooling solution. :)

IIRC the 212+ comes with TIM that is based off of MX-2. I'd use it before I'd ever use AC5 again.

Nope. In the single fan tests the D14 had only one fan attached (wouldnt have been fair to the other coolers to do it any other way). Because of its unique nature, it has been pulled from future reviews as it is just not good enough in single fan mode to merit inclusion in our "only the best of the best (that we have reviewed)" charts. ;)

The D14 is not meant to be used with just one fan. In my opinion (ain't worth much ) whatever the product comes with that's how it should be tested.
