Default Cheap Yate Loons for Antec 300 Intake???

Hey HWC,

I'm getting an Antec 300 on Monday. I'm wondering what are decent and cheap fans for intake the Antec 300. Right now, i have a Coolermaster one i got from ImmaPC and this one(Arctic Cooling).

Are the Yate Loon on sale @ NCIX for $4 any good for intake???

Thanks !!!

That's exactly the fans I was using in my Antec 300 before I moved the dream pc into the new home Antec 902. They're completely fine, the 902 has them now on my Scythe fan controller and they're obviously even quieter. You'll be happy.

How was the noise compared with the stock tricools?

I actually find tricools at medium to be a bit loud but thats just me. Yate's if you have a fan controller or the Gelid Silent 12's if you want quiet. However, the gelids dont push much air, I just replaced both intakes, heatsink and exhaust fans with the gelids. Quiet but dont move much air at all. And just fyi, uv cold cathodes dont light the fans as much as expected, the fan blades matte color doesn't glow from the uv at all.

I use the Gelid 1000RPM fans. It moves enough air in my opinion.... and not too loud either.
