My System Specs

Default 80mm case fans

I need to replace my case fans with some that are more quiet. Does anyone have recommendations for good quiet 80mm case fans? I am looking for blue fans.

I found these Buy SilenX Corporation [IXP-54-14B] Silenx iXtrema Pro 80MM Blue LED Quiet Fan 1700RPM 32CFM 14DBA Fluid Dynamic Bearings 3/4PIN but just wondering what you guys prefer.

Thanks,

Dante1

Best fans:
http://ncix.com/products/?sku=38060&...facture=Scythe
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...lutions%20Ltd.
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...facture=Noctua (overpriced, but if you want to buy into hype...)

Best blue fans
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...acture=ENERMAX
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...ufacture=Antec

I vote for the Gelids. Cheap, quiet, and white/black looks REALLY good IMO.

If you really want something quieter, drill some holes for 120mm case fans. They move a lot more air and are A LOT quieter.

Lo Mein said that, and I think he knows a little more about dancing than I do pal, because he invented it! Then he perfected it so that no man could best him in the club of honor.

80mm panaflo. Undervolt if "full power" is too loud.. I can't hear the damned things at 12v, but if you've got that acute of hearing, 7v or 5v = pretty much dead silent.
This model:

NCIX.com - Buy NMB-MAT (Panaflo) 80MM Hydro Wave Bearing Fan 1900RPM 24CFM 21DBA 3PIN W/SENSOR 80X80X25MM RoHS - FBA08A12L1BX In Canada.
