Default Seeking advice: Easy AM3 cooler
been pulling and swapping cpus too often for a bolt-through setup... and as a result im using the stock Amd cooler right now. Why? Need to have a fast and easy system to allow for tim/cpu changes. So, could i get a few suggestions for a good option that uses the AMD clips system or something just as easy to use (no access to the back of the motherboard). Thanks in advance guys...

PS: E/W orientation would be stellar as well.

vendetta 2 is easy to remove, but is n/s

Hyper 212+

The backplate mounts "permanently" to the motherboard so taking the heatsink off is just 4 screws. It also installs correctly for whatever direction you need.

Hiper 212+ is an option, but i honestly hate having to squeeze my head into my case to mount it with screws or to unwire my system, pull it out and lay it down, then install the cooler and reverse. keep the suggestions coming!

Coolermaster Hyper TX3. It uses the same mounting points as the stock cooler and can turn to face north south east west.

Vendetta 2, HDT-S1283, or Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 come to mind, granted the the Freezer 7 Pro isn't high-end. Just for reference, my Vendetta 2 on my i7 920 @ 4.032GHz with 1.35V and 22°C ambients hits only 80°C max on core 0 (hottest core) after an hour of Linpack. I just received the chip last night and that test run just finished. I am using the back-plate install, though, but it shouldn't make a huge difference.

Vendetta 2 and the Xigmatek's are N/S when using the clips i think... correct me if im wrong.
