Default Whats better: Prolimatech Megashadow or Noctua NH-D14?

I'm looking into building my first computer I know everything about the parts I'm buying already I would just like to know wich of these 2 coolers would cool my i7 920 better?

Well, I would seriously concider about the prolimatech. I am using the Megahalem and it's rock solid. There is also the Thermalright Venomous X that perform really well. The noctua is great but...to big if you have tall RAMlike my trident it can be a pretty big problem.

ya but the noctua will better cool you chip around the CPU , it's for that purpose the design

Yeah but for 2 or 3 degree under I rpefer ( personally ) now to have to remove my cooler to change my ram. And god know I change my ram many often. Test result are all in the HWC test list now it's time for OP to choose between performance or suitability. What is your ram and how far would you like to push your 920???

Bring some work at home, ram to test and new kit to test to see if they are good, if yes we sell the model if not we wont recommend it to the customer. I also clean MY pc few time a month and I always clean my ram and ram slot to make sure. You come to get little parano when working in dusty and smoky client PC...beurk...
