Default Fan Controller : Can you use a Splitter?

Lets say you have 2x 120mm Fans on your CPU Heatsink is it ok to use a splitter and plug the fans into 1 header on the Fan Controller? (2x Noctua Fans) I think the controller is listed for 10w per channel.

I have 2 Ultra Kaze's plugged into 1 header... so far so good. Depends on what your controller is rated at for amperage.

10 W/12 V: 0.83 A
Now look at the specs of your fans, how much mA they are listed for and you will know ;-)

Lets take Gelid WING 12 UV Blue: Current (A): 0.22 (means about 2.64 watt)

Give it some head room and you still can plug in 3 of them.

Please correct me if i am wrong ;-)

I'd say it looks about right, They'd be hooked up in Parallel at the power tap, in series though it would be a different story.

Hook em up and let us know how it goes. Do a test first, but it should be fine.
