Default Two questions: see inside for details

Hey all, didn't feel like starting 2 threads for 2 different questions so I'll ask them both here:

1. What's a good (inexpensive) low profile heatsink that is compatible with amd cpu's? [looking for recommendations]

2. Whats a good (inexpensive) 80mm fan that can move air and also stay quiet when things heat up?

EDIT: make that 3 questions

3. Any good vga coolers out there that are compatible with low profile cards?

I'm using this in my HTPC and it is silent. Easy to install and cools well. A quick pricematch check shows it can be had for $31.

NCIX.com - Buy Scythe Shuriken 3 Heatpipe Low Profile CPU Heatsink LGA1366 1156 775 AM2+ AM3 939 940 W/100MM Fan - SCSK-1100 In Canada.

Scythe is good. For almost anything HTPC or Low profile.

As for 80MM Fans Well you will be hampered because that profile will give you two real options. 1 it moves high CFM but makes a racket (TT Smart Fans are good for this) 2 it is quiet as a mouse but moves less than ideal air.

There are some cheap LED ones that I like by Masscool, or TT... It all depends, can you fit a 80-120mm adaptor in there?

Those are some good ideas. The scythe shuiriken looks especially promising, I'll see if I can find in @ canadacomputers for a reasonable price.

ST, I think it would be impossible to fit in a 120mm fan using an adapter. I am using this case : ::::::::::IN WIN::::::::::

CC usually carries Enermax Fans too. So if you can find their LED versions there they should be just as good.
I have slowly come to like Enermax for the fans they have.
