Default Scythe Katana3 Enough to OC?

I am planning to OC an AMD Phenom X4 BE 955 to atleast 3.5Ghz, will this cooling be sufficient along with my Antec P193?

It might be good enough for 3.5GHz, but probably not any higher than that. It's not a huge cooler.

Which one would you recommend?

I would recommend the Coolermaster Hyper 212+.

212+ if it is a new build.

See this chart. Pick the best one that fits the AM2+

AM2+ or AM2? Because I couldn't find any for the i7 that wasn't AM2

Edit: Budget is around 50ish but whatever works because I'd rather get bang for my buck to last me awhile instead of constantly upgrading.

I believe the AM2/2+/3 sockets all use the same mounting spacing. They just support different ranges of processors.

AM2, AM2+, and AM3 all use the same mounting brackets. The only physical difference is that AM3 is keyed differently to prevent AM2 and AM2+ CPUs from being inserted (although AM3 CPUs can be used in AM2 and AM2+ sockets). As far as heatsinks go, they are identical.
