Oh and Martin, think you could make your sig smaller by putting your PC specs into the "My System Specs" tab? It's in your User CP.
Rgr will do it right now;)

For my curiosity how much OC do you aim for your i7 860?
You can't find anywhere an adapter kit for 1156 for Megahalems?

Good point burebista. I know that sidewinder computers in the states has the adaptor kit...or at least did two weeks ago (last time I checked for a friend). IIRC it is like 20USD w/ shipping to Ontario via USPS Int'l. A lot better than buying a complete cooler. :)

And beside that Megahalems is the king of air cooling ATM. Especially for a hardcore OC and serious airflow.
I love my Noctua but I bow to Megahalems.

Hm you are right, the only thing that shock me is that they only ship to canada via UPS standard -_- that suck...I will rune the 860 on the stock cooler waiting for the back plate to arrive. I hope to get over 4.0Ghz stable so it would be a really great upgrade from my Q9550.

Just to be different , because I always like to be.

NCIX.com - Buy Zalman CNPS10X Flex CPU Cooler LGA1156 1366 775 AM3 754 939 940 Support Dual Fans - CNPS10X FLEX In Canada.

That should end up being a serious contender to the Primo...And dual fan support.
Zalman has really started putting up their A-Game for coolers as of late.

Regards,
ST

Mounting system is a factor and IMO Noctua's is second to none for versatility/price/security.
