My System Specs

Default Prolimatech 1156

Hey guys, I`m about to upgrade to a I7 860 aand I use the Megahalem for 775 cooler. Does any one of you know where I can find a 1156 mounting kit for it?

i emailed them lol i was told to buy from the us lmao
and to get it from the states woulda cost me 45us$
i got the evga ftw has both 775 and 1156 holes great board
i had the ud4p first but it died after 4 days lol

Don't place your opinion only because you add a dying one. If I do so, I would'nt sell anything in the shop. Especially Asus board and Antec pouwer supply. GA still figured out in the top board for less return rate so I think they are good value.
Thx for the info about the mouting kit. I think I will change it and sell it to someone else if there is like a 45 US more for a mouting.

Martin metal try sidewinder computers in the states. Get them to ship it by USPS International. IIRC it will be like 20 including shipping.

well gigabyte admited they are having big problems with foxconn sockets
boards have been revised with lotess sockets and will be the p55A-UD3X
all the ones with foxconn sockets real cheap now lol price drop of 40$ in a week

This issue w/ Foxcon sockets is NOT limited to Gb only. A lot of companies use them ( and IIRC its only an issue with high Overclocking). Can you get a bad board which dies after only a day or three. YUP, but it can happen with ANY company. GB quality control is right up there w/ the best. Like any modern mass produced item shite can and does happen, but overall GB has earned a good rep.

dfi evga and msi got lotess sockets
my gigabyte board wasnt doing contact on many spots
i be buyin a revised gigabut board for a second i5 rig
