AkG by chance do you remember how Nirvana's fan sounds? Beside airflow at 19xx RPM which should be hear, any suspect noise?
On SPCR they said that fan is awful at any RPM and in the end they put Nirvana off the charts.

Hi Burebista. All I can say is that the Nirvana I got was easily the quietest of the bunch. REALLY impressive and unless you had your ear close to it you couldn't hear it at max rpm. The noise it did make was like a low tonal hum or whisper which was easy to ignore (no screeching whirring, clicking etc) and most of that noise was wind noise not bearing noise. Honestly, inside a case it would EASILY have been below hearing threshold and drowned out by damn near any case fan. Reminded me a lot of the OLD Scythe SFlex Es when undervolted. I was so impressed with it that I have since used a couple in customer builds and all were just as nice.

Man thanks from the bottom of my heart for bringing my sanity back.
They drive me crazy on their comment thread and constantly bash me with their extrapolated results.
Now I'm peaceful again.
Thanks a lot, I really respect all of you for listen to us and have now probably the most accurate testbed and methodology for heatsinks reviews.
Kudos to HWC.

Thank you Burebista, that does mean a lot to me. It was a lot of hard work, but hearing things like that make it all worth while.

Without giving away to much for the next review we have sourced out a much hotter running C0 920 cpu to use, as our cool running CPU was the only "weakness" left and it should help make the tests even better.... Though you may not like some of the results for the next cooler review as it is one serious kick ass HDT based cooler of mythic proportions. ;)

Hehehe, if it's about Thor's Hammer I already know that it's a damn good HDT heatsink.
My friend poparamiro with that 23 coolers review was impressed by it and he's not really a HDT fan.
