Fan advice Hello, I have recently replaced my top Antec Tri-Cool with a Yate Loon D12BL-12-UB. The look is nice, the sound is nice, but the cooling potential is a bit lower than what my Tri-Cool could do. I am then considering getting new fans that would be fairly quiet and move lots of air. So I have been looking at some fans and some of the ones I am considering are: Scyte S-Flex SFF21F This one is the "weakest of the 2 and based on silentpcreview.com, it pushes 6 less CFM and makes 5 less dBA than a Tri-Cool. So, I am assuming the SFF21G would fairly similar in terms of CFM. Scyte S-Flex SFF21G For now I am not in the process of buying, but more of analysing my options. What do you guys think of those 2 fans and do you have any other suggestions ? |
I use both and you would be ok with either one. Are you comparing your Yate to tri cool set at high? |
Well, the Yates at high are more comparable to the Tri Cool set at medium I find. That is in terms of airflow, not noise. |
Although I have yet to try them, I have heard some good things so far about CM's lineup of new Fans. I'd give one of them a try. ST |
