Typically the big coolers work the best when they are cooling a really hot chip like an overclocked Q6600 or I7. You may not see as good a result on a cooler chip, but you should be able to run quieter fans and still have good cooling.

I will try it tonight if I have time to do it. Will post some some result;). I have been able to do it easy with a H50 so I think the Megahalems will do it just fine.

For those that had a TRUE, how did the megahalems perform compared to it using a higher static pressure 38mm fan? I have a TRUE Black Rev. C and I'm still deciding if I should give the Megahalems a try. My TRUE Rev. C doesnt need to be lapped or pressure modded, it's something they fixed in the new revision.
