My System Specs

Question Lennfield cooler?

I just wonder to know if anyone have found a good review for Core I5 air cooler, witch perform the best. Bit-tech have one but I think they have wierd result for this one.

The rule of thumb: if it does good on 775 it does good on Lynnfield.

+1 to above. Just find an 1156 adapter and you're good to go. The market really hasn't changed much in a while, so all the HWC reviews are a good read to find the best possible heatsink.

Ahah I was looking at the 212 me to but has I state previously Bit-tech make me doubt of it because the result were like over 70 degree and score was like 5/10??? But, I believe more in Skymtl then in bit-tech so hyper 212+ on the way to go:)

In all reality, I think the 212 PLUS would be great. Even if our results don't line up with Bit-Tech's you have to remember that the heat output on the 1156 processors (other than the 870) is significantly lower than most other Bloomfield or even Penryn quads. Plus, it is already compatible with the 1156 mounting system.

Something else all your 1156 adopters should be aware of is this: I have found that the processors tend to throttle like made when hitting above 77C.

If I understand good these CPU will not only reboot when to hot! that's a pretty good thing to hear! That mean Summer oc can be better:P
