If you have 3 empty slots, try removing the plastic shroud and zip tying one or two slim 120mm fans on if you really want to bring down temps.

Remember, these AF HSF assemblies will not exhaust the heat outside the Case, as does the Stock Coolers. Really, if I can get Tri Sli 280's to run at a reasonable Load Temp (75c) with a simple "tweak of the stock fans" then you can as well, without wasting $$$ / time installing these 9with no guarantees of further reducing Temps.....
Download / install Precision...run one of your most demanding 3D Apps with Fan at 80% and report back...

Not that you want to sell your cards and try the new MSI GTX 275 Lightning, but the reviews put them a quite a bit cooler and quieter than the average 275.

Price seems reasonable in the US @ $234. They should appear here soon and I hope that they are priced similarly.
Too bad MSI didn't stick with the standard 896mb to keep the price lower. Double the ram seems to have little to no effect.

I put the fan up to 70% and it runs great. Its noisy but Im getting fancy headphones in a month or 2 and that should drown it out. BTW, does anyone know weather these are any good:
