I'm looking for an aftermarket AM2 heatsink to cool my AMD 5200 @ 55-60 degrees. And some thermal paste if the thing doesn't have it.

Witch one should i use?

I have around 30-40 dollar budget.

Scythe Reeven Direct Touch Heatpipe CPU Cooler LGA775 AM2+ S478/939/754/940 92MM Fan 2500RPM 31.07DB

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PWM AM2 S754 S939 S940 900-2200RPM 40CFM 4PIN Heatsink Fan
or other stuff

The AC F64 isn't that bad. It's small but I'm pretty sure it would hold your cpu to those temps. It's a nice easy install too.

I'm getting different reading. Core Temp tells me its 60/65 degrees while Everest is 42/37 degrees. WHy and which one should i believe in.

AMD CPUs use the Tcase to measure temperature, which is the sensor that programs like ASUS PC Probe uses. Basically, it's the motherboard temperature sensor. Core Temp uses Tjunction to measure temperatures, which are inaccurate on AMD CPUs.

Go get an OCZ Vendetta 2 if you can. What cooler are you using right now?

I'm using the crappy stock AMD heatsink. But i put a ghetto fan on top of my 9600GT to blow at the heatsink
