Thanks for your advices all of you, i think i've had the feedback i need, unless there is more i need to know...
What i will do is just wait, first. My gpu still hasn't crashed while gaming. The day it happens, i'll buy some mx-2 and put the stockplate back. What should i buy to stick the ramsinks-voltage regulators on other parts of my card, and what should i buy to put back my plate... it didn't seem to be thermal paste on the vrm/ramsinks...

most of the time they are glued in place with thermal tape, it's looking like foam tape for glasses but it's conductive. tie-wrap and the cooler should be with good thermal pasta enough to take all in a piece.

thermal tape, yes that's what was on the vrm. I do not think i need tie wraps : the cooler can be screwed right onto the pcb.

Yes Eagle i've seen that product and seems good. I might just hope my 4870 endures the vrm heat. If it doesn't, well then i'll try the plate trick. At least, my twin turbo works well for one thing : silence!!! No more plane engine when i turn on my cmputer!
