Does this look like a hit? I tried it and it's dead quiet.
If it is, PM me your address and I'll send it out tomorrow.
*****edit***** I think it might be an old P4 one but I can't remember how it mounted

Too big 3o7 that is definitely for a p4.

But with a bit of ingenuity it may work.

Default free fan if needed

This is a 'slocket' setup - slot 1 to socket 370 adapter. I've got a number of these fans available and can ship one for free if you need. I've even got a new hs/fan I paid $10.00 for years ago and never used - $5.00 + $3.00 shipping and it's yours.

3o7: this is definitely not the same as I have. And it's hard to tell if it would be possible to fit it just by looking at the pictures.

bushwhacker: I'll wait for soultribunal's news before looking for (another) backup solution, but thanks for your interest.

No dice on my end I'm afraid.
I looked , but the HS's on our old PIII's were the OEM style with the Huge Passive Sink, and Case fan Pulling across it.
Sorry,
