Realy low temp needed
 

Hi guys, there is a pretty hard one for you. I actually want to push to the limit one of my friend Q9550. He is going to put it in a HTPC and he want me to see how good the chip is by OC it to the limit ( that air can go ) So I ask you about how to keep a chip OC about...I think I can reach 4.2 maybe...pretty low for OC to be good. It will be plug under my Vandetta 2 but I need much more cooling. I can't use water because my only kit is already under not in my house...erhhh...Well if you have any tips tell me;)

Though for air, best you can do is get like a TRUE (Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme) and strap on a nice 200+ CFM Delta to it.

Liquid metal thermal paste - I've been finding this stuff to be good for anywhere between 2-4 degrees improvement over anything else I've tried, even if it is a PITA to apply, and can short out your board if you splash or spill it.

Air conditioning. Drop your room temps, watch your system temps follow.
