Backplate question

Hey everyone.

I have a zerotherm nv120, and my backplate broke because i overtightened the screws. So now I'm stuck with Intel stock cooler. I've read that nv120 backplate is the same as Tuniq 120 backplate.

The question is, will Thermalright lga775bolt-through kit work with nv120?

Chances are any LGA775 backplate will work.

key to not stripping screws is just turn till u cant.. and screw the screws in with your fingers on the screwdriver not your hand. yes it will work btw

Thank you for your help :)

I dont think i tightened it too much. There reason i think it broke is because it was plastic.

I've always been told "tighten till it breaks then back off 1/4 turn". :)
