Default Accelero XTREME GTX

ARCTIC COOLING Releases VGA Cooler For GTX 260/280/285 - VR-Zone.com: News and Reviews

Has anyone have one of these yet, it looks good. I had the 9800 GTX version
and it kept my 9800 GTX very cool when running full load at 60% fans.

Can not find it on NCIX yet, looking on buy one if I can find it. If anyone knows where to get one let me know.

I wouldn't even think of upgrading my vcard until I knew that AC had an Accelero for these GPUs. My current one runs so cool even as a passive cooler. Great to hear about this model finally.

Damn it you beat me to it yycraven, lol I spoke to AC a while back about this. I am really looking forward to the launch date.

Likely its not on NCIX because of the March 2009 release.

Here's the official page from Arctic Cooling

Cool, i'm going to have to tell my brother about this one. How does the RAM do without a full coverage block? (i've only ever had full coverage WC blocks instead of the stock cooler)

With adequate airflow and good ramsinks the ram operates just fine.

I think my only worry is the back plate of the GTX280 and GTX260, unsure of what is going to be used in its place.

Would be interesting to see an early review on it, especially if a comparison is done with the Thermalright HR-03GTX. I'll place my bet on the Thermalright, maybe Arctic Cooling will prove me wrong

I have to give Arctic-Cooling some real credit here they've designed a very impressive piece of cooling hardware. I just can't wait to get mine as soon as its starts shpping here in Canada.

There is a backplate now, wasn't before. Probly why it's not out for sale yet. Now that it's ready to go should be out soon.

I can't wait to order one, and if it's as good as it seems, a second barring space restrictions.

I would bet a PCI video card that the AC Xtreme GTX280 smokes the Thermalright HR-03 GTX...
