Default Noctua NH-U12P or TRUE 1366RT?

Which one of these should I get? The Noctua is the better deal and is in stock at NCIX but the TRUE is out of stock for close to two weeks and only has ONE fan included.

Planning to get at MINIMUM 4GHz out of my I7 920.

I can't speak for cooling an i7, but I have the Noctua on my dual core, and it is great. Very high quality piece as well.

I have the Noctua unit and very happy with it. It should be a few dollars less at DirectCanada which is also owned by NCIX. You have the option of two fans - but the second one is an overkill and does not do too much at all. I added the secon fan
and so far has not seen any marked difference.

I'll disagree, it seems that the 2nd fan does in fact some work!

I only have a single fan on mine (Noctua), and it is very quiet.

Noctua makes great fans that are paired with Thermalright heatsinks

+1 For the thermalright, it would be my first choice for cooling any CPU.

I'm waiting for that Thermalright True from NCIX as well.....does that Noctua come with a Bolt Through Kit or just the clamps?

Not too sure.....I think that for 1366 it uses a backplane like the Tuniq Tower sort of deal.
