My Noctua came with a bolt-thru kit if I'm thinking what you're thinking. You have to screw it on to the motherboard, not push-pin like. Really great heatsink. Should dissipate alot of the heat from the i7.

I'm going to vote for TRUE with 2 fans on it.. Seems like the better cooler (which is why I bought one).

I'm using a TRUE on my i7 and it does a rather good job keeping it cool with 2 Nexus DS12L-12's on it.

TRUE with dual Scythe Fs did the job at 4.1GHz, until it went under water.

I have been very pleased with my Noctua NH-U12P, I currently have one Noctua NF-P12 fan on it due to clearance issues with a second fan and my TR HR-09 Mosfet sink. No other clearance issues with the heatsink though. MX-2 works well with it. The Noctua fans are very quiet while still putting out decent airflow. The mounting system is what sold me on the Noctua as I had a TRUE previously, it is much more solid and easier to remove and re-install. The temps. were "damn good" with the TRUE however, but only by about 2-3 degrees at load compared to the Noctua for me.
