still low... but i yahoo it and it said 83, 108 , and 134 cfm at 24, 27, and 30 dBA

vs 78cfm at 31ish dBa for 120mm zm-f3

edit: nice but no locally retailers? i hate ship and stuff because cost at western coast is very expensive compare to eastern coast...

wel...

i guess i dont have much choice to select antec big boy...

i think i will choose 4*100mm fans to create massive cfm at that noise level ( 58*4 = 232 at 30dBa) please correct me if i got mis-concept about noise level...) compare to antec's hi-speed 134 at 30dBa...

Actually, since the fans are rated at 58cfm @ 30dB EACH (and assuming the specs are even accurate), you'd be looking at about 36dB for four fans. Make no mistake, you WILL hear that kind of combination, and it'll be a higher pitch than the 200mm fan, which registers louder to the human ear. When it comes to cfm/noise, it's very difficult for a smaller fan to beat a larger fan. Now, when you're pushing through restriction (heatsink/radiator), it's a different story, but those fans aren't designed for that in the first place.

Yeah, the 200mm is probably going to have less static pressure than the 100mm fans, but for open-case use, or through a filter, it shouldn't be too big of an issue. Again, you'll be hard-pressed to make a bunch of smaller fans equal a larger fan in both noise and airflow.
