Red face Need help with 478 bracket

Hi everyone, I've signed up on this forum for a while but I haven't post any yet due to I haven't got anything to contribute and I'm not sure if lurking is one now I need some help.

I broke one of the clips that holds the heatsink in place on the MB and I was wondering if I buy another heatsink, does it comes with the piece look like the one below or I have to the piece below plus the heatsink? I'm in no rush of getting it since it's my back up system so if anyone can point me to the right direction that would be cool .

No, the socket clip is part of the motherboard, not the HSF. You may be lucky to find one on eBay. Good luck.

And Welcome to the Forums.
