A little more information about the ThermalRight AXP-140, no specific date on the expected release. If the weight is correct it won't be a lite once you throw a fan on it, but no way near as heavy as any copper heatsink.

Nice...i still like downward facing H/S's over tower-style...the mobo/chipset/VRM/RAM cooling is such a bonus. My TRUE performs much better than my XP-120, but doesn't cool my mobo.
I see the potential there, however I see that adversly affecting temperatures in some manner. I'll admit it would be cool to give it try and if it worked, well like you said "making it very low profile indeed"
