Default HDT RS1283 Vs TRUE 120

How do they stack up against each other. I just ordered this: Xigmatek HDT-RS1283 Red Scorpion CPU Heatsink LGA775 AM2 S754 S939 S940 120MM Fan 800-1500RPM - DirectCanada
with 2x2gb PC28000 Redlines.
How does the Red Scorpion compare to my TRUE?

I have the S1238, and really, the RedScorpion is the same HSF with a nicer fan... lets put it this way... I'm gonna buy a TRUE Black and lap it, cause you will get better performance... and the true (from my experience) is a much better quality HSF.... much more solid.

And much more expensive..

As for your question, I would go for the S1283, but have a look at the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer, damn it is a nice thing..

Very true, it is much more expensive... however I think that for overall construction and the performance, its worth it.... especially with high OC's on air.
