Zalman 9700 - 5.25" bay idea

Well I've had my new computer for about a month and my CPU temps were ok with the zalman. CPU1 45 CPU2 at 50 at idle and during gaming ~10C higher. This was without overclocking.

So frankly I wasn't too impressed and I had all my case fans running at a decent speed too. So I took off my extra 2 5.25" drive back covers and stuck an extra 80mm Antec fan in there (34CFM). Wow is all I gotta say, it dropped my temps down to 37/44 at idle and hasn't even gone to the mid 50s during gaming. I guess the issue must've been with getting fresh air through the heatsink. Anyways I'm working on a mod for the remaining drive bays. I've ordered 2 Lian Li 5.25" mesh drive bay covers and 2x70mm fans with 35CFM each. I'll post pics when it's done. Anyone else should try this if they feel their temps aren't sufficient. It has also dropped my NB/SB temps as well.
