Question Question about fan controllers…

Still not used to this site fully hope this is in the right place if not I do apologize in advice….

I was looking at getting a fan controller for my antec900 but all my fans are the Big 3 pin connectors (see picture) If I buy some adaptors (also pictured below) will the fan controller still work on my fans?

Not entirely certain what you mean by "Big three pin". Are you sure you're not talking about the 4 pin connector?

A fan controller Should be able to adjust the speed of the fan if you use a Molex (the larger connecter, normally has 4 pins) to 3-pin adapter to your fan controller. Be warning though, that a "more advanced" fan controller with RPM reporting or an LED status light that varies according to the rpms of the fan Will Not Work. Otherwise, the fan controller should work just fine.

Sorry, i didnt make myself clear. The fan controller will work, but the RPMs will read as zero or "Error" depending on the fan controller.

Well it still defeats the purpose of having that fancy one if 1/2 of the stuff won’t show up.....got any suggestions for one that would work as it is supposed to?

Either swap the fans out for standard 3-pin ones or get a more simple fan controller, like the Zalman MFC-1.
