Just got it up and running last, night, my first rig, no smoke no sparks!!!
I used PC Wizard 2006 to monitor my stuff.
I disabled the "speed step thingy" in the DS3's bios, and got my Freezer 7 at full blast. I'm just testing and getting used to it.
I get this for temperature (E6420)
Processor temp. 25 deg.cel.
Core 1 temp. 36
Core2 temp 36
Mobo (system) 44
No overclock yet and under PRIME 95 for 4 hours now.
My question is: when you folks OC your C2D's what CPU temp do you consider? Core or Processor?:help:
