just a little research... OLED wont be releasing until late 2012 to 2015... (even its invented in early 1980 o_O?)

only CRT supports this? if then i will look at used newest product... maybe again from viewsonic ;p

but according to some sources... LCD is also supporting this HDR feature...?

btw... so its best time to buy old stocks at after mid-nov?
Because of the way LCD displays color vs. the way a CRT works, no, HDR scenes will not look the same as they do on CRT - Keep in mind that the affordable LCDs that most people buy for their computer use the cheaper TN panels, and 6bit color which means it does not even display all the colors - while for most applications you won't notice, if you have gaming with lots of color gradations, lighting and effects, the dithering might not look that great. For LCD I personally would wait until they get better, OR invest in a more expensive one, and check out the specs for the color gamut and whether it uses 6bit or 8bit - most of the time companies do not show these :) The LCD will be better than most of the crappy old CRT, but against a pro series CRT, I have yet to see the most expensive LCD compete, and I've seen quite a lot of them. :) The ones that come close and use the expensive panels meant for graphic artists and gamers, are way outside the budget range of most people :D
