It seems like the max CPU speed I can obtain and still keep within reasonable heat levels is around 3.85Ghz which in all respects I guess is a decent OC. I ran Prime95 last night and it passed Small FFTs stress for 7 hours so for now I'll call that stable unless anyone recommends I do a different Prime test like that blend. At load I have 428x9 @ 1.208V 57C max.
Is there any benefit lowering my multiplier? I have 1066 ram so really I could go as low as 7.5 and still keep within my ram specs and the CPU speed target.
Should I disable FSB Strap to North Bridge now seeing it's keeping my FSB/DRAM ratio at 1:1? I was told by a few ppl it's good to have ratio at 1:1 until I found a stable clock.
BTW sorry for sounding like such a gloomy Gus above, I've accepted that not everyone can get some "golden sample" and I appreciate everyones great advice.
