I'm glad doc mentioned the fiber washers before I installed the block. It wouldn't surprise me if there's an issue with most GPUs and the blocks.
For such well made and expensive blocks an oversight like this by EK is pretty incompetent.
I've searched and found cases of dead 4870's after EK installation. Not sure what to do about installation now
